The Isle of Man is home to a thriving yachting industry. It is an economic and efficient jurisdiction in which to register Pleasure and Commercial Yachts with both showing year on year growth on the Isle of Man Ship Register.

Cruising Permit - United States of America

All Isle of Man registered yachts, used exclusively for pleasure, not engaged in any trade, and not violating the customs or navigation laws of the United States, may obtain a United States Coastguard cruising permit in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Register Document. The Isle of Man has been entered into the list of acceptable countries in Section 4.94 from October 2008.
