This is because our Director, Dick Welsh will be retiring in September 2019 and wants to allow plenty of time to ensure we get the right person to lead the Ship Registry into the future.
The Ship Registry is a fantastic team of professionals, working together to create and operate the world’s best international ship register. This was recognised recently when World Commerce Review awarded the Ship Registry its “2019 Best Shipping Registry” award in advance, to allow us time to prepare a media campaign around it.
The team will continue to provide excellence in service and regulation to its international client base and the new Director will play his or her part in this by leading the register to new heights in the future. Dick will be involved in the recruitment process and the handover to ensure it remains business as usual at the Ship Registry and we get the right person to take over.
