EMCS Ship Superintendent's Training Course

The Isle of Man Ship Registry are pleased to confirm our continued support of the EMCS Ship Superintendent’s Training Course as it enters its 14th year. The course aims to provide all the knowledge, tools, skills and insight to enable seafarers to make the transition from ship to shore-based employment. The next iteration of the course runs for 9 consecutive days from 23rd-31st March 2019 in Douglas on the Isle of Man.

The Isle of Man Ship Registry will continue to provide a number of expert speakers to the course, who will give students the benefit of years of experience on subjects including Port State Control, Ship Registration and Environmental Issues.

The course has been approved by IMAREST (the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology) and DNVGL and is managed by EMCS International Limited who are based in Port Erin on the Isle of Man.
