Changes to MLC Complaints Procedure

The Ship Registry wishes to advise operators and seafarers serving onboard Manx-registered ships that our procedure for receiving seafarer's complaints in the relation the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) has been updated. Our preferred method for receiving such complaints is now via our online form, however seafarers may continue to submit complaints by email or post should they wish.

The reason for this change is to ensure that we receive all the necessary information at the earliest possible stage. In turn, this should allow us to resolve complaints more quickly. 

It should be noted that this service can only be used for complaints in respect of MLC.
